Battery is just in front and above your left knee, sitting in the seat + on the bottom and - on the top
Iffin it had been a "rattler" you'd be a swelled up dead MoFo, Bro!!!

I am a new owner and need to find the battery. I am reluctant to just start pulling panels and seats until I have a clue.

There is a manual in the Glove box that tells you were everything is located. Food for thought. :icon_wink:

I think you still need to pull all the panels off to get a clue. I mean come on... you can't find the battery!!! :wacko: Geeeeeeezzzzzzzz... Everybody knows the battery is under the front hood where the engine is at...duh!
