My CVtech and machined primary give me exactly what you are looking for.

 

Even in low range.

 

It will lock up and crawl right about 2-3 mph

 

I put a Dalton Clutch kit on and set it to engage my clutch at 1650RPM and it actually engages more like 1750 but in low gear I can craw aroung on my farm at 2 to 3 mph no problem. I can tell it is geared alot lower in low gear and I don't think it has lowered my top speed by much. It was a little pricey at $250 if I remember right but I like it. My kit came with weights, a different primary spring (green I think) and a different secondary spring. There may be other kits out there that can gear it even lower or you could call Dalton and talk to them.

 

Mud yapster, did the Dalton take out the clunk?

 

No, the only way to get rid of the clunk Is with a $500 STM secondary. The clunk is from the BRP secondary. I'm going to get an STM secondary after the 1st of the year, till then I'm just easing into the throttle to minimize the clunk.

 

You can get the Dalton kit for about $200 now, its on my xmas list.

Thumbs up for the Dalton clutch kit. I now have a 1650 engagement rpm that allows for Mitch better crawling.
