Hi, So I went on a trail ride this weekend and went through a few big water spots about 2ft deep. After those I switched into high gear when driving down the road to our next trails going about 35 to 40 mph. During that speed I noticed the commander was slipping and making tiny shakes and was having trouble speeding up past 40. I took a look at some other forums before finding this one and they said it could be a worn belt. So I took a couple panels off and saw there was a hole on the top part of the outer plastic belt housing about 2inch by 1inch. I havent opened the housing yet to see if the belt is wet. I am figuring it might be a wet belt. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Also does this have any affect on the 4x4 too? I noticed it sometimes was not engaging. Thanks!

If belt is wet it won’t pull. Belt just slips it it dries out. Nothing to do with 4wd.
