Tall Pines, NY - Worth the Trip?

I have a season pass and go often.
Trails are challenging mostly low gear, about 50% will need 4wd.
This is not the place for a gentle Sunday drive. If you enjoy rough terrain and mud this park is a great ride. Some good hills but not as steep as Majestic trails down near Bradford PA. That is another challenging park. If you want easy riding go to Denton Hill State Forest near Coudersport PA. They have lots of smooth easy logging roads, and it's free. Try them all, choose your favorite.

Wandering child,
I disagree with everything you just posted.
I hardly ever put my commander in 4 wheel drive there...
There are different levels of trails .... So if you want to just tool around you can.... And there is a way around every thing if you didn't want to go through somthing...
Get with or talk to some of the repeat riders that know he trails there before giving a shotty review of one of the best parks in NY.

Mr Broown,
I will take lessons from you on how to post a snotty reply.
What I posted was a quick honest opinion of the trails at tall pines.
Dont know how you twisted my words around to make it sound snotty. I actually enjoy the rough 4 wheel drive terrain and if you never use 4 Wd there it must be because your a light weight who sticks to the kiddie trails.

What More Can You Ask

Yes it bites having to pay to ride, never did when I was a kid. NY state really has a problem not allowing the heavier UTV's to be registered. Private parks don't need to worry about it if they are on private land. The choice of pay or don't play is a no brainer. Not when trails like this wait at Tall Pines.....
