Start button and fuel pump not working.

I drove my 2016 commander 2 days before this issue and it was running perfectly. Now when i try to start it i can't hear the fuel pump and when i push the button nothing happens. I have checked fuses and used a test light to make sure im getting power. I also checked battery and and ground wires. I don't have a dealer near me and prefer to fix it myself so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take start button apart clean the contacts add sone lube and put it back together .

When mine would do that I found that pushing up and in on the bottom started it every time . But just pushing in it would do nothing .
I have a similar problem on occasion and found it to be the key. If I remove it and reinsert it, it will usually start, sometimes I have to repeat this a couple of times. I assume it's not reading the key code correctly. For some reason it seems to read the key better if I start it with the key in the headlights on position.
Also if it thinks the shift lever is not in park it will not start unless the brake pedal is pressed.

I have tried all of this with both my keys and it still won't start and fuel pump still not kicking in
If fuel pump isn’t running it’s more than just the starter button. I miss read the original post I though fuel pump was running . Candham is the electric wiring guru hopefully he sees this and chimes in. Did you check the main fuses in the small fuse box?

Is there more then one fuse box because mine doesn't look like that
I would check F1 in the auxiliary fuse box. Is the cluster lighting up and ECM booting up when you turn the ignition on?
There he is you talk about him and he shows up!! Lol

Well, I downloaded the owner manual for the '16 model, and there is apparently no longer an auxiliary fuse box. The manual describes "fuse links" instead, denoted by a wire size rather than an amp rating. That doesn't sound like fuseable links to me, and I don't have a schematic for your year. You could swap the main relay with another that looks the same. Did you check the battery with a meter or a test light? In the photo you posted above, the positive terminal connection looks less than best. Did you try to pull up any codes on the guage cluster?
The 16 quad still has the aux box. You would have thought they would have done away with all not just on one model .

I have checked the battery and its still in excellent shape and completely charged. Battery connection is good as for codes i did what it says in manual to bring up codes but it doesn't seem to do anything. Someone online said the machine must be running to display codes.
No it won’t show codes running . But to show codes the engine light does have to be on. It will only show active codes . Only dealer can see inactive codes.
It sounds like you may have 2 separate issues, or something common like ignition switch or ecm, etc. Do you have a multi-meter, and do you want to start digging?

I don't have a multi meter but may know someone that does. I really don't want to take it to a dealer because the one thats closest to me is horrible to deal with and likes to over charge for simple things. If i can't figure it out ill have to take it in but can't afford to spend that kind of money on it at the moment. Thanks for all the help guys i really appreciate it.
Find you a multimeter canofham will walk you right through it. He is the best at reading the schematics!!!
Here is info on the fuel pump circuit. On the start circuit, keep in mind what Golfcart said earlier. Make sure that the instrument cluster actually indicates "park" when it's in park. Also, with ignition on, if brake lights come on when pedal is depressed, then that circuit is functioning, allowing starting in gear, barring any other problems. Wouldn't hurt to make sure your ECM connections are good, too.
