I have recently noticed after the motor comes up to temperature (3 or 4 miles) after I would shut it off then try to re-start it the starter drags really slow( grunts ). After it sets for a while and cools down it start just fine(starter spins fast). Is it time for a new starter or do I need to look at something else?

Looks like I have posted this in the wrong place.

I had the same issue as that one time. I thought maybe it was the starter. I checked it and the amp draw was within spec. I did a load test on the battery to find it had a bad cell. Replaced the battery and have not had any issues since.

I will give the Battery a try before I change the starter.
