How do you test a voltage regulator for slow battery drain ?

Put test light or meter between hot post and positive cable start unhooking accessories or components one at a time till light goes out. And do this with everything off including the key switch. If light isn't on then no draw sitting. Manual tells how to check regulator .

You can't. There's no static test for the regulator. And the regulator doesn't draw current, it rectumfries and regulates the magneto output.
