I have a 2013 Can Am Commander 1000 XT and the muffler has a lot of surface rust and just looks unimpressive. SO I have been wondering if there are any exhaust solutions out there that would not only give me something that will not rust but perhaps give me a bit better mileage or HP? Not looking for something to increase the sound levels... I mean a little would be fine if there were other benefits but really just looking to find a rust proof solution with perhaps a few other advantages?

I mostly just ride dirt roads, fields and the occasional wood trail. No mudding or rock climbing.

Anyone have some experience with this and can recommend something?

No muffler will give you better fuel mileage or more hp. You would more than likely lose up to five hp. All aftermarket mufflers even with quiet cores will be louder than stock and will require a fuel controller to adjust air / fuel ratio . If will get leaner if it gets louder. Up side almost all the aftermath mufflers are made out of aluminum so they don’t rust .

pull it clean it us a rust converter on it why spend more money then you have to no body looks at
