A lot of my riding is in more open country and at higher speeds. Not really tights woods and rock crawling. I like to push the limits a little but dont consider myself dangerous. It seems like people dont want ride in the commander. Anyone else have problems getting people to ride in the Commander?

Everyone wants to be the passenger in my case. Got buddies with RZR's & 4-wheelers. Once they sit in the seat, they can't believe how comfortable it is compaired to what they are use to riding on. Plus the bigger bed, means more adult beverages.

Took my father to maine for our anual tripto maine a couple weekends ago. Offered twice for him drive, he said this seat is great, I'm staying here! My son (see below) didn't mind either.

Most passengers love it, but I have had even some hard core dirt bike riders ask me to slow down at first. I have found the key it to start slow and as they get used to the feel of riding then speed up. If you start off going 65 MPH some just don't care for it and may never care for it after a scary first ride. I now break in most passengers for about 30 minutes and slowly go faster and faster. Also keep it in 4x4 to keep it more stable at high speeds. I found the 2" spacers make it feel more stable for the passengers as well.

Bottom line if the passenger is not one who is looking to roll (just for fun) you should get them used to it just like you did driving it.

Alot of people out there have never been in a side x side, so it's good to take it easy on them at first. My sister was scared to death. And the first time my wife drove me I admit I was pretty scared. Had to tell her to pull over and have a frosty beverage for the nerves! Got a remember this thing hauls ass.
