Started digging into the wire runs to make it as invisible as possible. I can't seem to find where to run the wire from the battery up to behind the switches on my max. I hear mention of folks running it up the rocker panel on the passenger side and then across the glovebox and others up the tunnel. I'd prefer up the tunnel as it is a more direct route but I don't see any good spot to zip tie it too. Maybe just was too dark tonight and I'll have better luck in the morning.

Was supposed to have this done tonight but my home A/V install took a weee bit longer than expected. Going out on a night ride in the canyon tomorrow and think it's about time I hook up my lights! Hah. #slacker

Found some room to run it and ran it up the center tunnel. 40a fuse by the battery and a blue sea panel under the switch panel. Grounded it to the front crossmember by the radiator. Hooked up my one simple LED bar and I'm ready to go play in the river now.

Hahahaha - Nope, only 4amp draw (47 watts). Bought and assembled the remote fuse box to only support up to 40amp so I don't exceed the available 'excess' power in the system. Nice and bright. Didn't have to use it today, made it out of the washes before sundown. Gonna take it on a night run here this next weekend. The stock headlights are great and all - but I like being able to SEE the donkey before I hit it.
