Last few weeks I’ve been getting some squealing from belt when going from a stop in high or low. Then last time out going down a hill it didn’t hold back for a few then caught. So I decided to check my belt today and went and replaced with another belt I have. The belt I took off has been on the machine about 500 miles. One side of the belt is smooth the other has an edge and is wore. The belt in pic is a can am maverick belt I’m including pics. Can anyone tell me why this did this? Thanks

Probably some good sand paper then smooth it back out with a scotch Brite pad. Also when you put new belt on make sure it's rolling true in center of one way bearing . If it's not center the belt maybe running at a angle from the secondary to the primary.
