Here is the set-up on my X: Rackzilla HD rack, UTV HD heim joint tie rods, New bearings and ball joints year ago, Bad Rotator Cuff from a fall on my beverage arm. Question I have do I need anything special to install a EZ Steer super atv Power Steering Unit to the Rackzilla Rack. I am assuming all will bolt onto the topside of the rack should not be a issue. Any Feedback would be welcome. And Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year on the trails!!

Good question. Buried in a thread somewhere on here somewhere I remember reading that there was a Polaris cover that someone adapted as a cover. I don’t remember which Polaris. If you find the thread or cover, post back. If I find it, I’ll link it.

I added some notes (tips) to the instructions when I installed my ezsteer. I’ll take a pic and post it later if you want.

Thanks I found them by looking up RZR power steering cover $9 to $18 on ebay looks better then nothing at all or a Crown Royal Blue Bag. Will get one from ebay and see how it works out. Any hints when we install it this weekend.

I had planned on making a cover or using the rzr cover but after I installed it, it didn't really look out of place to me. For some reason in photos, they look like a big wart, but not bad in real life.

As to tips, the instructions are pretty good but there were a couple of simple things that I scratched my head about for a few minutes. I'm putting pics of 2 pages of the instructions that I made notes on. The only thing I added to the other pages were check offs and reminders to go back and tighten the things left loose... I'll also try and take a couple of pics of the way the bracket mounts below the steering wheel and post up later.

The weirdest thing was that the bolt head and nut on the factory steering shaft at the u-joint were 2 different sizes, 5/8" and 17mm. Also, removing the gauge cluster made it easier and requires virtually no extra effort.

It's one of the best upgrades. They got the required steering pressure/resistance just right.

great pics thanks for the heads up. Like you I thought it was strange with the 2 sizes on the coupler I noticed that when I put in the new rackzilla, looking forward to see the difference. any changes needed in toe when you set it up

I didn't change anything. I just straightened the tires back up and put the steering wheel back on and test drove. I think I was one spline off with the steering wheel so took it off and put it back on and all was good to go.
