I got it off but not without great effort and totally destroying drive pulley clutch (one way assemby) and somewhat scuffing the inner sheave.
What can i do to ensure this doesnt (seizing up)happen again
I placed new one way bearing less than 100 hours ago? More grease?
What is the threshhold of needing a new sheave?

Not much you can do . Any grease that gets outside the oneway will end up on the belt. So clean everything good and hope it doesn't seize again.

Going through this exact problem now.....not off yet, I will try heat..
It didnt take just a little bit of heat it took a ton of heat and prying… by the time i got it off there is pits in the clutch face.
I went ahead and bought a new inner primary clutch

also the driver pulley clutchc was totally destroyed

Additionally im now uncertain if my springwasher is the right size as the bolt head can almost fit through it…

i hope you can get it off there and save money
Good luck

Cut through the clutch pully (cutting wheel) and what was left of outer bearing ...everything came off in pieces after that. Plungers were sheared off had to pick them out. Replaced pulley (cup) and bearings , better than new.

Good to know.
Thanks.
I thought it was the secondary that wasn’t reusable. Maintenance on a can am is pricey
