Gaia or onX I have both but Gaia is the one we use when mapping .

Offroad maps App.. Looking for a good app to download on a phone or tablet for trail riding, what's a good one?

Avenza Maps works good for the desert. I imagine Ace's works better for wooded areas.
We tried using avenza in South Dakota and in Moab being they had all the preloaded maps. We still ended up going back to Gaia. To complicated to learn it in a day or two. So I guess it all depends on what you get used to. They all operate differently.
