I have a 2012 Commander 1000, just put a maverick belt on it along with a Torque Locker in the front diff cause the stock was junk. Awesome response in 2 wheel drive, but when I engage the 4x4 I initially smell the belt and it's extremely jumpy when I give it gas....do I need new clutch springs or a new clutch.... any ideas??

If it’s fine In 2wd and starts jerking going to 4wd. I would start with u joints in front shaft and recheck the front diff. Sounds like you are binding up after going to 4wd. Was it jerky before the belt and the torque locker??

No it was not jumpy prior, and the u joints are good. It doesn't do it when I have all the wheels jacked up off the ground inspecting it. Only after I put it on the ground and engage it.

Well if it wasn’t doing it previously then something changed after you did your installs. Can’t see the belt causing the issue unless the belt has oily residue on it . Did you wash the belt before installing?
