Hey guy's,
I just bought a 2014 Commander 1000 Rotax. It's quiet according to my wife as I drive by and I have confirmed it. However, inside the cabin is incredibly loud. Is there something that I can do to quiet it down besides adding a radio (which I have) or wearing earplugs?

in construction the best money spent is on the "flanking paths" of the sound leaking around the solid members. It's amazing how effective that is. I have seen a lot of money spent on walls and structure and lose it cause did not gasket a door or wall corners were not caulked. Next most effective is mass, depending on frequency. Which is keeping lighter, thinner panels from being a speaker diaphragm/cone. So with what acefire said... apply with the above principles to help barrier the sound and make sure all older panels are properly anchored to not vibrate. It helped the noise transfer of one of my older UTVs when I replaced a bunch of plastic push pins with body bolts and J-clips.
