Does Garmin have a trail map for riding? I currently use Polaris Ride Command, but looking for a better option than an app on my phone. What is everyone using that works best for them?

We've found Gaia can be a bit hit or miss, but if you're using a GPS enabled tablet like a Samsung Tab with GLONASS almost any app will work great.

Get one that does breadcrumbs so you can backtrack, and one that saves your trips so you can share them out. We're starting to do this in our UTV club so folks don't have to depend on a ride leader to take them out on trips. They can just load the trips they want and go.

We use an IPad mini with ram mounts and Lifeproof protector. You can download AVENZA SYS and go to MNDNR web site under recreation OHV and download all the MN GIA trails in pdf. We also run GPS MOTION X at the same time and track all our rides. One nice thing about MOTION X like the Polaris app you and others can broadcast your real time position. This way youcan see where other riders are. We have South Dakota and Wisconsin trails on our IPad.
