How would I find out which Gearbox Type I have in my 12' 1000 XT?

I am snooping at a parts diagram and this is what is listed for my model year.

Gear Box 1 (Type 684784) (Type 684786) <--I have this one
Gear Box 1 (Type 684788) (Type 684789)

Gear Box 2 (Type 684784) (Type 684786)<--I have this one
Gear Box 2 (Type 684788) (Type 684789)

Gear box 1 and 2 appear to be two separate parts assemblies for the same gearbox(right and left side). I don't know what the two "types" are, but when you look at the part number for the entire assembly, the part numbers are the same. I think there are now two trannies available, one standard, and the other having a lower "low' range. You could go to canampartsguy website and get more info. You can call him, too. His prices seem the best, and I hear he is knowledgeable and helpful.

I have emailed back and forth with the CanAm Parts Guy.
He currently does not have a Gearbox in stock and unsure when he will get more.

Are those part numbers found directly on the gearbox?

Thanks Hairy!
I brought the Commander back to my house on a trailer last night.
That way I can wrench on it easily.

Tight bolt down tight then smack bolt with a hammer . Also you can try pour water down in the hole and put thread tape on the puller then rub the bolt in .

Lol well you just need a little bit of water in there . Jack it up not roll it over . But it’s off so you all good now and it didn’t flop over . That would have been a hard pic to explain .
