2018 Max XT....when I set current time, the bike resets the time back to 0:00 once I switch key off and turn her back on again. Just put a fresh battery in with good clean battery connectors to boot. Any ideas? It’s not a deal breaker, but I do like to glance down to see the time every one in a while. No idea as to why it resets itself anytime the key is turned off

I noticed you posted this in the Defender General Discussion area, I don’t know how different the clusters are but maybe some that's dealt with before will be able to help. Good luck.

Yeah....I pressed the mode button after setting time. Still resets itself after you turn the key off....then back on. Who knows

Defender manual says to press the 'set' button after setting time (for xt model). Commander manual (I was using) says to press the 'mode' button after setting time. I wonder if either is correct.

I’ve done both it will not keep the time. I guess something is shot in the ECU that keeps up with the time
