Well my maverick fuel tank started leaking on the filler neck this weekend . Because of my cab things get very stinky inside .

Naturally I can’t find my spare tank that I bought .

So how can you fix this neck leaking issue? Could you JB weld it, or do you have to replace the tank?

Wouldn’t be the first tank I have welded . But it also depends on the metal . If it’s from rust it’s junk . If it’s cracked it can be welded. With the proper equipment.

Not found any epoxy that would hold on gas tanks . They have all been temporary fixes. Then a lot harder to clean up to weld .

Sealall should work to stop the leak on the fuel neck . It don’t cure hard . It stays a bit soft . Because it’s not hard it should stay stuck on . I will try it until I can find my spare tank lol
