No way the defender is closest it will ever be I think. I mean they didn’t even redesign the commander . There added a dump bed to the maverick trail.

Anybody think Can Am will build a General Size commander again ?? —-Hate the commander in present form—Had a 2011 and a 2017 Commander and would have bought a new one if it was full size—-hope to see one in the Future —-JMO

I had a 2022 Commander XTP ordered till i found out it was a Maverick trail with a dump bed and wider doors—Got a 2023 General 1000XT sport till can am gets it right !!!
Lol have lots of fun over there on the dark side.
They actually got on here and was bragging about how much engineering it took to build the new commander . Then month later it was the Mav with dump bed. Don’t think they have been back since.

Yes, they should hide there head in shame—— someday maybe they figure out not all people want the narrow body of the Mav. On every model except the Defender !!!!Lol have lots of fun over there on the dark side.

I did like everything they did wheelbase-suspension and the Motor !!!!! They do need a serious upgrade to the interior—-STILL A CAN AM FAN just not the Commander !!!!
Yeah seats are to close together . I don’t mind being close . But knocking elbows every pothole or ditch crossing is a little to close .
