I was finally trying to mess with my fox shocks and change the high speed compression but the blue adjustment screw is stuck on the drivers side rear. Each time I try to turn it the piece of metal being it that says “high speed” turns and not the actual blue adjustment screw. I tried holding that with some lock pliers while trying to loosen the blue adjustment screw with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated... should I try spraying the screw with wd 40 or something similar?

The metal knob “behind” the blue adjustment screw turns and not the actual adjustment screw is what I meant

Only thing you can do is replace it. Or hold the rear nut and break the blue adjustment loose. If it breaks loose and starts leaking it will need replaced or have new orings installed.

I would start by soaking it in oil for a day or so.
