Further to the discussion starter, this happened to me as well, except, the commander was just idiling in the driveway while I took off the snow blade. Probably 15-20 minutes. Once off, I was about to take it for a rip until the screen had limp mode running across screen with the oil light on and engine like flashing..... checked the coolant and it was under the min line, so I filled it to btwn the min and high. I did notice the hose that connects to the rad at the bottom ( passenger side) seems to be leaking. Any ideas as to the issue?? I have a 2013 can-am 1000xt

when i put the water pump back on before i tightened them simlar to what they were when i took it off but i didnt over do it. what do you suggest i do when i dont have a torque wrench? everything is closed

I don’t have a torque wrench either. I’d do hand tight with a wrench. Don’t over do it as you can tear the seals easily. Nice and snug is what I go by and seems to do the job!
