It will say no codes if there isn't any. But if light is in there is a active code. But again low voltage will cause code.

Can anyone help me my 2018 can am commander keeps going into limp mode for no reason

Something is causing it to go into limp mode. You need to have it put on buds to see what’s causing it. Every time it goes into limp mode it records why in the ecm. Which buds can read . If it goes into limp mode you shut it down and the check engine light isn’t on when trying to pull the codes it won’t read. Check engine light has to be on when pulling codes with the dash. Dash cluster only reads active codes not inactive codes.
