Try this

Turn the key to the setting with the lights on. Then press the S button till hr is flashing then turn brights on and off and the active code should come up.

Not unless it's running hot or you have a short in the harness .

Try this one

) Turn the key to the lights ON position.
2) Use the mode button to scroll to the Engine Hour (EH).
3) Press the mode button once more and hold it while
4) Quickly (very quickly) toggle the HI LO switch. A minimum of 3 toggles within 2 seconds of pressing/holding the mode button.

Yep there is a Oring on the throttle body that has to be there. The Oring won't cost much.
Part number is 420431900 $5 bucks. That's the part # for the oring that goes between the throttle body and the air inlet manifold.

So your running lean. Sucking bubbles through places there not to be sucked through. Lol
Take that Irving out and head to napa you may get it up and running by dinner time.

There is also a little tube that goes down into the top of the intake it will cause lean also if o ring goes bad. Or anywhere there is a connection between the throttle body and the heads.
