My commander only starts in park or neutral. How difficult is the brake pressure switch to replace? Can they be repaired? Are there alternative ones to the factory switch?

If you don't want to replace the pressure switch you can wire in a momentary toggle switch that you would press when you want to start it in gear

I've replace mine several times.they go faster in humid climates . It's a tight fit but no more than a 30 minute job.ome is the only option.dont loose the cooper lock washer when removing the switch

Thanks guys. I was thinking I saw a thread where someone used an automotive one that was $10 instead of the can am $40 one. But I can't find the thread. And it could've been on a different machine - maybe one of the atvs. And south Mississippi is damn humid.

I can slide the shifter to P or N a lot for $40... OTOH I don't like having things that don't work.
