This weekend worked in another design spare tire, goes on the back top of the roll cage. Made in round tube of 1 1/2", finished in black powder coated.
Nice ideal however the Commander is aready top heavy. Adding this amount of weight on top raises the the center of gravity. I would rethink this one. IMHO!
I think it looks great DOC. If you take it easy riding, I really don't think you'd have any problems. Maybe sand all the weld marks out so it's nice and smooth and heavy powdercoat.
The only problem I see is, any back window won't work with it.
I really like this mod. I have been kicking something along the same lines around in my head, but haven't got anything done on it yet. You do a fantastic job in DIY Commander mods.
