I have a 2020 Commander Max Limited and I need to add additional switches to control lights and other accessories. The center panel has room for 6 switches which isn't enough. Just left of that panel and just right of the steering wheel is a panel that is empty behind but only has room for one switch. Is there a different panel that is made that could house 3 or maybe 4 additional switches in that space?
Just take a dermel and a burr bit and cut you out some switch holes. There’s been several companies that made a switch holder but it bolted under that panel and was very hard on bouncing knees of longer legged people. I actually had cut mine out and mounted my two radio in that panel . So it can support a decent amount of weight .
You have to remove the hood in order to get that panel off. It and the one on left side of the steering wheel is one piece and not easy to remove . Guessing that’s why no one has made one .
