Torque us up 8 to 69 from 61 too. Horsepower-wise, that's about the same as the commander 1000 until '18 (or '17?) when it went to 92. I don't know what the commander torque figures are. Those hd10s are pretty powerful, especially in a utility machine. I haven't driven one though.

Ya I wish i would've waited a year longer to buy mine. I was just wondering If the new machines hp and torque increases are very noticeable and change the driving experience significantly.

No clue if they would even do it. I’m just guessing the flash was only thing they changed .

Did some more looking . The 2020 defender now has the Maverik heads. Earlier models did not . So it’s a detuned Maverik engine same as the commander now .

I wonder what a person would gain by running maverick cams in one . Chances are you would need the high compression pistons , cams and ecm flash to get the 101 HP
