The 2019 Commander has no DC Bus. How would I wire Gorilla Whip Lights safely with a rocker switch with light? Been told, directly to battery with no explanation of fusing or powering light on rocker switch.

Just order a wiring harness. You can get them on eBay or Amazon’s for 20$ ish. They come with everything you need including the switch . Or you can wire them straight into the tail light pig tail . There’s a wire in the rear harness behind the trail light that has power when the key is turned on. Or you can build your own harness.

Most that are going to add multiple accessories just and a marine type fuse box . That way you don’t have everything tied to the battery.

Ok, I have quick disconnects on whip lights and it came with a lit rocker switch.
