We are new owners and not very side x side savy. Where should we start to look for issue. Turn key on,panels work, but put start will only click. It has a new battery, could this be starter issue or something else. We are in the dark.

Check to make sure battery is fully changed and no loose cables on either end battery and starter.

Well if it’s clicking it’s getting power . So either the main battery cable has broken inside and not carrying enough voltage or starter maybe bad. But they aren’t cheap so need to make sure engine will actually roll over before spending the money .

Yes the cable issue isn’t common but it’s happened several times over the yrs. they break under the insulation and you can’t see it or feel it.

I would check connections and voltage at the start solenoid. It is located above the battery. Is that where the clicking is coming from? If so, the contacts are bad or you have low input voltage .

Yes it was. We did have to replace starter. You could knock on the starter and get to start but not every time. Thanks for you input.
