Was out riding for a couple hours; we had stopped for a good while and when I went to ride out, I had very little power; even when pedal to floor.
It got worse int he next couple minutes, culminating with it not really wanting to start/run even at idle. Had to go get the trailer...

no check engine light

fuel pump & regulator just done here; been perfect til today:
2016 1000 cuts out when hot...ideas?

I do hear the pump at key on...

been dusty; possibly tps? iat?

where to start?

appreciate your thoughts...

ok; so the pump I put in is leaking from it's output to where it inserts in housing

the rubber boot that pump neck fits into was pushed all the way down onto the pump neck output, rather remaining in housing.
Pulled it off the pump output, re-inserted into housing and reassembled = all good (for now)

Why would the rubber boot the pump output fits into be able to drop down like that when the entire pump is under spring tension?
