I bought a 2012 commander 1000 and it will break a tie rod bolt (10 mm hard bolt) every time I ride it. Can am has discontinued the bolt so I have to source local. Anyone else had this problem? The newer models (2014) use a 12 mm bolt. Does anyone know if the tie rods will interchange? I know I would have to drill out the hole in the arm that the tie rod bolts to. Thanks

Order utvinc.com tie rods for a 13 model. Or you can just buy the outer for a 13 model from the dealer then drill your knuckle to 12mm. But best would be buy new knuckles for a 13 and either new rods or just the outers. The 11/12 knuckles with the 10mm bolts are known for breaking. The 13 model knuckles and rods were upgraded for strength.
