I have a tire question... I am new to this just bought one.. I have read some post's but they go all over the place sometimes.

We have a stock 2012 Can am commander with 600 miles on it and has the original bighorn 2.0 27x9x14 4 ply on front and 27x11x14 (6ply I think) on the rear.

I would like to buy 3 used front wheels on ebay and run Tusk Terrabites 28X10X14 all around with a spare from my old fronts.

I have read the Tusk Terrabites run smaller then actual.

Is this my best cheapest option and ok for the utv?

All aftermarket tires seem to be much heavier compared to the 4 ply originals. I do not want to do any upgrades such as a clutch, front end work etc... and would like it to perform well and not damage it.

Please let me know if you think this is the way to go..

We live in Utah so West coast Utah/Arizona riding trails etc...

Your time and knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt.

I have tusk terrabites and really have had no problem
They wear well on pavement too
Do ok in mud but noticeably not as good as bighorn.
i think they roll a lot easier than big horns and they are 8 ply
I would buy them again
