Are any of you running wheel spacers on your trail? What thickness are you running? Local dealer told me not to go over 2 inch on them due to stress on the ball joints and spindles. So I am looking for 1.5 inch wheel spacers. What is your opinion? Thanks.

I’ve been running 2” on my 2013 since it was new with zero issues other than the tires attract more trees. (Might be driver error) 1.5 or 2” is negligible, you’re talking a 1/2”. I like the way mine looks with the spacers. Some on here will say they are “bandaids” for stability when there are better fixes for that. I’ve done them all but retain my 2” spacers just because I like the look.

Long time follower and forum user, First time ever posting but i couldnt agree more with Boogerhead, I run 2 inch spacers on my 2012 X, my wife runs 2 inch spacers on her 2015 XT, ive even got a set on my 05 Sportsman, other than needing to be more mindful of the extra width when shooting narrow gaps, you wont see any issues. Youll like the stance and look of the machine with them, as well as the stability they offer. As far as wear on wheel bearings go, youre not going to see a difference due to the way we beat these machines on the trail anyway. Go for it!

I have 2.5 inch and it looks great. When I bought my 2019 the previous owner put the X3 wheels on. I put the spacers on to make it look stock. He included the stock wheels as well. When I have those on it looks even better.
