Will it not go into gear with the motor shut off or just when it is running. If it will go into gear with the motor shut off then you have a clutch problem, if it will not go into gear with the motor running then it sounds like you have a gear set that may be out of time or a bent shifter fork. Have you rocked it while trying to shift it. And can you get it in neutral?

Yes it won't into gear when when shut off goes in perfect

Sounds like the one way bearing is toast. Pull belt cover off start it and see if the belt stops turning or just keeps rolling . Should stop turning within a few seconds after startup.

Hello I'm looking to buy and commander with 1,800 miles on it it's fairly cheap the only problem is that the owner claims it only works in reverse. Looking for advice or ways to fix thanks.

I have a 1000 xp it backfires at idle put new gas checked plugs. Would jumping it's time cause this?
