Hi Troy, no I just took the old belt off and cleaned the sheaves then replaced with a new BRP Maverick heavy duty belt. I did not take the primary and secondary apart yet as I have no shop manual yet or that versed in doing so but will get there. there was not much maybe a spoonfull mixed with water and soot from washing and a creek crossing -I hope! The dealership parts guy said they lube the shafts and with heat water and soot that might have been the tablespoon of fluid. Hope so. I kept the old belt for a spare, hunting this year going through a mud hole smelled it and saw a little smoke so that is where the soot came from, next time low gear and 4x4 but am getting used to my new Commander. The belt change was in anticipation for my new tracks so we can get to the ranch from Nov - May as there is a time span the snowmobile was not good to use but the tracks I hope will allow us to.
Regards
J
