Oem a-arm guard install

Bought a set of the aluminum can-am arm guards second hand. They didn't come with any hardware, and I see the stock plastic ones are riveted on. Are the aluminum ones intended to be bolted on or riveted? Couldn't find any instructions for the kits to see what they originally came with.

On the rears, they have an extra hole that the arm doesn't have - supposed to drill it or leave it blank?

I'd say drill it and bolt it. I'd use nylock nuts though.

Bolts & lock nuts but use 1 " pipe / conduit clamps on section that parallels the arm on the fronts.
Hole below the arm is offset to inside & 1 hole clamp fits perfect.
