2018 Commander 800R Power ^^^

Hey Guys

Voodoo here,
I been off the Grid for a few years and hope all of you are doing ok.

I recently bought a new 18 Commander 800R with the standard 27" Horns on it, and stock everything

Just wanted to get some ideas on any first, simple upgrades I can do to increase the power, sluggish low end, and just overall power upgrades that would keep it under warranty.
In my past days as a Outty and Rene owner I had some bore work done on the cylinders(800 to 920cc) that really woke up the 800's, with exhaust and ECU.

But for now I would like ideas on the simple bolt on type mods that will give it more pep, acceleration and get rid of that sluggish low end and keep it warranty safe.

Any ideas?

Only way to get rid of the safety issues is a ecm reflash. As for power increase your looking at 100$ per hp . That would be new piston heads and cams plus a reflash to match the added parts .

45 M.P.H.? That seems odd to me. It sounds like something is wrong. You may not need bolt on performance toys, you may just need to figure out what is wrong with your machine and get it fixed. What color key are you using? Welcome to the forum by the way and to the OP as well.

I may have to grow old, but you can't make me grow up!

My 800 XT will top out at 71 MPH on dry and flat pavement at 8250 RPM in sport mode. 2.5" lift is great from SuperATV, the low sport override is a great investment at $100, and a roof/windshield of some sort are great. Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask.....
