SDR Motorsports bolt in Opening Doors!

We are super excited to finally introduce our NEW Bolt In Opening Doors for the Can-Am Commander.

We know there are a few choices out there so we really wanted to do something that was not only different, but in our opininion, much better.
and here they are...

These Commander doors open forward like a traditional door making getting in and out much easier. We also use an automotive grade double latching "slam latch" for a secure rattle free door. Our doors also feature our own exclusive design front hinge pivot allowing almost 110 degrees of opening.

For a unique look we carry the panel forward into the front fender and all the way back to the bed side for a clean, seamless look unlike any other Commander doors on the market.

So enough of the pitch... here are some pics...

We are offering the first run of ten sets as a pre-order to Commander Forum members for the intro price of $693.45 through our website just enter coupon code SDRCMDR23 at checkout!
or give us a call and we can take the order over the phone. This price includes powdercoating in black with black or raw panels. We also have an exact match yellow and red for a little bit more. here is a link to the doors on our site: Can Am Opening Doors | SDR Motorsports

As always, I look forward to your opinions, feedback, criticizm, and questions.

Thanks!

SDR Doors

Just my 2 cents:your door look good, follow the body contour
Most of the doors either open to the front or rear except for Blingstar doors and they are very expensive.
My thoughts are doors are good except while on a trailer when you need to get in and drive it off the trailer or get out once you drive it on a trailer. My trailer is only 6 foot wide, and has a railig with screen mesh on the bottom that goes all around the trailer. With this in mind, doors need to open vertically so that I can get in and out while on the trailer.
Again your doors look great. Thanks fo reading my 2 cents worth.

I appreciate the comments. We designed the doors so they rise upwards to clear the side of a open trailer. We have a Carson trailer here with the side rails and the door will open without hitting the side rail!

It doesnt help on enclosed trailers, but you can always climb over it if you have to. Also, just one bolt and you can remove the door.

Nice looking doors. I can't tell from the pictures, but how much risk is there of something catching the leading edge of the door and bending it back? How tight is the leading edge to the body of the commander? Thanks

I have a set of similar doors from SDR on mine and they fit pretty tight... you would do damage to the plastic fenders if you got close enough to catch the sheet metal on the door...Sweet doors for sure...

Sorry I missed your question 8trout....

the leading edge of the door tucks in an almost touches the plastics so the chances of it hitting something would be remote. If it did, whatever you hit would probably take out the fender in the proccess to get to the door.

Our goal was to make something that, when open was a true door. Alowing easy removal of the seats, and making getting in and out of the car easier as well.

One of the things we didnt like about current doors is how the hinged panel is right next to your side, if there is an impact the door could bend in at the hinge point and potentialy hit the driver or pass.

What we did to eliminate this was to carry the top tube of the door all the way back past the dual tubes of the cage. This means that if you are hit from the side, or roll, the door can use the cage as a brace barrier to keep you protected, like a door should. not just make you "feel" safer.

Thanks for the questions, keep them coming....

Thanks for answering my question.

Very interested in your doors. Do you have a time estimate on when they would be done?

Also I noticed that the price on your website is lower than quoted here. Will the discount code just reduce the price at checkout?

Thanks
