Yes, this tool is needed to back it off the crankshaft.

How you guys removing the Secondary ? Know Manual shows a tool for the Primary and the Secondary but never heard anyone mention "needing" anything for the Secondary.. ANd only 1 of the 3 holes is threaded for spreading it ???

Remove center bolt and the secondary will pop off, and I do mean "pop" off. There is a spring back there and if you don't hold on to it when your loosening the bolt it will surprise you to say the least. Other than that it's easy peasey!

Cant get the Bolt Loose !!! The entire Secondary turns. It IS normal (rt hand) thread I'm thinking. ....trying to turn counter clockwise to loosen. They show a tool to hold it but think there's got to be another way.
