They may have changed the drive shafts between years. But the '13 for sure has one in every u-joint. I usually take my skids off every 10-15 hours and thats how I grease them. to me its the easiest. no plastics to take off on the inside.

Hmm never thought of taking off skid plates, how hard was that? Sounds like it would be equivalent to taking off plastics and dealing with those bastard push pins haha...I found 9, and I do have a 2012 maybe they added one to 13 lol

Skids are a piece of cake compared to the plastics.

Yes but I clean it driving through a creek that about foot and a half deep at high speed till no dirty water comes up through the floor. Lol has worked great so far.

Here's a pic of the u-joint in this pic on the right side of the photo there's a grease fitting in it and on the outlet of your gear box that feeds to your rear differential

I've got a 2012 X and there are 10. I get them just about any time the plastics are out which is 10-15 hrs. of run time. Often use a needle tip to get into the tight ones.

2012 X, CVTech Primary, machined secondary/Maverick belt, RT dual-rate springs & 2" lift kit, Rackzilla, Fac UTV full skids, EZ Steer, DZ Sport Mode Low, Viper synth winch 4000#, Hayden fan Sw mod, hi-flo H2O pump impeller, SuperDave's A-arm & steering bushings, BRP 1/2 windshield, Titetop soft top, air post filter, Mr RPM oil filter adapter, removed muffler cowling for better heat flow, UTV Inc under-bed heat shield

You have the RPM external oil filter and cooler, was it worth the effort and what do you like or not about it, I am thinking that and synthetic oil at 100 hours is a good move.

What oil filter brand do you use?

Lots off add ons, just ask, the trick is to figure out what you really need, not what you think you want, and that applies to allot of things in life!
