@CanAmCrazy and anyone else interested...

Don't know if y'all saw Motoalliance's thread on here the other day. They have quite a few items up for bid on ebay. Tons of winches, some going at really low prices. Might want to take a look and see if you can save a $ or 2.

The "x" gives you the best bang for the buck. You can buy decent winch's now for around 200 bucks that come complete with contactor, remote and wiring. The Commander glove compartment has a spot to store and install the remote plug. You can buy a dash mount rocker switch for around 10 bucks or adapt the handlebar mount style switch that typicaly comes with the winch. I opted to run the 2" reciever hitch on mine and bought a Warn front/rear wiring kit complete with quick connects for around 75 bucks. The "X" does have the contactor control wiring harness routed up to the dash.

If you are going to get the X I would look on the internet for the winch. I would not buy it from Can Am, it is too over priced.
Myself I went with the Commander LTD and I love the SHOCKS that are ajustable, GPS, RADIO, ROOF, WINCH, and WINDSHEILD, and the abillity to pump up a low tire on the trail, it is a awsome machine.

Same answer as Ditchdigger...I have same machine and I did ALOT of research.
The Limited was the only choice for me.
I have near the same demands as you that I need from my machine..

I was going to get a red XT and buy the X shocksx, it was going to cost me $17,000 for it ( I already had it ordered). But when I got the message that they were comming out with the Ltd, and it had all the opptions that I was going to buy anyway I decided to spring for the extra $2000.00, it would have cost me more the other way. I have $24 grand with the doors and plow.
