made it from fiberglass it sounds pretty good and , looks pretty nice installed in the roof i will put more pics up of finished product when i can...........
Oh i might make a few for people here and there but nothing real serious, takes a TON of time to make one out and out.... but its something to consider i guess, thanks for for looking. i appreciate it. without a mother mold itd be hard to be cost effective, lol......
i appreciate it guys it took along time tho ha ha, i dont know if anyone realized yet but i even molded in dome lights . i think its pretty cool and hey i know audioformz looks like they have a great product but phew, have u seen the price on those.... they have an exceptional looking product and im sure it sounds and looks better than mine. but i got 280 bucks in mine stereo speakers lights and all, lol...... and a whole loooooooooooooot of sanding . thanks again......
i counter sunk 6 1/4 inch bolts into the wooden frame of my fiberglass skeleton, drilled the corresponding holes into my roof and viola! just run the nuts down on the threads sticking out and your golden. so pretty much the same as emp set up just the hex heads are counter sunk and hidden on the inside of the cab because the fiberglass now lay over it...... for a clean look.......
Really nice, I wish I had that kind of motivation. I would really like to put in a stereo that has a little bass with it. Can't wait to see the installed pics.
ok i tried to put the installed pics up for u guys looks pretty good i think, but i may be biased. however me not being the most computer savy its giving me fits. yea i know i gota pic up there before but to be honest the wife done it for me, lol shouldnt admit that huh.? anyways maybe when i get home this weekend she can post it up for me.....
yea rob i think you could maybe mold an 8 possibly a 10 inch sub up there but the next challenge youd face would be airspace for the sub, however those thin subs for say s-10 trucks and what not might actually work. hmmmm ill have to check on that. thanks alot for the responses....................
Alright... finally got finished with the build of a Bluetooth stereo with switches/power for my 2 side lights and front LED bar and rear cargo light. Here's a few pictures.....

Nice job looks sharp, couple of questions. On right side of stereo what is, what looks like a bolt, sticking out and the switches on passenger side, aren't they kinda a reach if driving and trying to reach over and turn different components on and off? Not critisizing work, just curious. again nice work.
