2012 commander

Just got my 2012 commander x. Rumor was it had power steering, it does not. Does anybody have info on what is different? I only got 6 hrs to ride before I had to go to work and already love it just curious about changes

What do the tie rods look like? They beefed up at all?

pretty sure you just got a 2011 and called it a 2012. 2012 models wont be released till june

Not true, I purchased a 2012 X on Tuesday. They have early release 2012 units, actually my dealer just recieved 4 X's that were all 12's. Now there will be new models released at the dealer show in Valcourt in 2 weeks.

Anyhow I also have 2 2011's. The only difference that I have seen so far...other than the late production 2011 changes like the radiator side guards, and the clutch update are the addition of the XMR side covers on the clutch.

Wow Clark. It's already July!! Glad to c ur on top of ur current events I bought it in June registered as a 2012 ins as 2012 I'm pretty sure it's a 2012 unless I was mislead by the dealer but thanx for ur opinion

i sure hope canam does a 2012.5 that has powersteering after the dealer show i bet there would be a lot of piss off people if they do lol

Hello every one, today I knew a new model (limited) coming equipped with an air fox suspension , I will learn more 16 July with the introduction of new models in montreal, I take a photo for you

First, the 2012's that are out now are basically 2011's replated. These 2012's that are out now are the ones dealers had ordered months ago. Because it's getting late in the season for 2011's they made them 2012's so dealers could sell them. The 2012 dealers show is this month, when the real 2012 new models will be released. Those who wait will be rewarded (I hope).

Second, this is the second time someone has mentioned a limited model. Things are looking better and better.
