New guy from Colorado

Hi everyone, I've been reading this forum and have seen a wealth of questions and answers that are helping to narrow down my pick. It's time to go see a dealer but there is only one I can find in the Denver area. I have an Outlander Max XT400 and this dealer never seems to have basic parts like filters, crush washers o rings in stock for simple oil changes. Colorado members where did you get your Commander and would you recommend them ? A trip to a neighboring state is not out of the question so what is your advice?

I bet we got ours at the same place, RPM motor sports? I agree they aren't that great as far as what they have in inventory. I don't know where exactly your at but there is a dealer in Greeley(I believe just because I went there of few times with a buddy for parts my Renigade needed but its been a long time) and I know there is a place up by Gunnison in the mountains and they are great. They have the bolts on o rings and whatnot's that a person like me always needs. And they are very knowledgeable and friendly besides the fact they are a Polaris dealer too, LOL. But there is good riding there too and they will help you get your Commander street legal. All this is from memory and I am sure without names it doesn't help but I just wanted to let you know there is more out there. If you know of a place that works on them PLEASE let me know.

Welcome to the forum from the other side of the hump.

I bought mine out of state (Flagstaff, Az) as the locals were about 6 mo behind in anticipated deliveries.. I have not found a store online or other wise that stocks more than filters/oil. I have started stock piling parts I think I may need.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm from northern New Mexico and bought mine in Colorado. Really impressed by the dealer so far, but he is a bit far from Denver.

Fun Center Cycles in Durango. Good folks, good stock of parts and accessories, great service. They had a bit of a hard time getting my ride in, but that was a BRP issue and they compensated me for my wait with a free 12 month extended warranty.

They had an Pure magnesium metallic LTD on the floor when I was there last week.

Thanks for the welcomes ! Kind of got off of the search for SxS due to the holidays and stuff but the urge has returned. You are right on the money about RPM, I wish there was some dealer competition in the Denver area but hell Greeley is only an afternoon drive away, Durango's quite a ways to go and service during warranty might be tough. As far as someone to work on them if you find someplace please post it.Thanks again

I got my Can-am Commander X1000 at Fun Center in Durango also. They usually have a lot to choose from but as of yesterday they looked like they sold a ton of inventory. They usually get stuff in fast. Give them a call see what they have in stock or maybe have them order you what you want if they don't have what you're looking for.

There is a dealer in Grand Junction " All-Terrain Motorsports " and there is a dealer in Montrose "Montrose Implement." I just recently bought two commanders from Caly but I got a sweet deal on them and had a family member haul them out for a family re-union. However, Montrose said they could get me out the door for under 15K on a 2012 X. That is by far the best deal I could find In Colorado. Hope this helps.
