Posting Tips

[OSOKILL]

1. Remove Text Formatting - a shortcut to undoing multiple items like when you bold, underline, italics all at one time just hi-light what you have changed and hit it

Fonts and Sizes - are the style and size of yer type making things really large usually annoys other members and the mods go behind ya and make them small again so unless its important don't waste yer time haha

2. Font Color

3. Attachments - attaching Photos and other items listed in the drop down window

4. Undo - will undo what you have just done

5. Redo - Will put back what you just undid

6. Align - Determines where your type will begin and end up on the page (left, center, and right sides)

7. Ordered lists - will make things look like this... and also undo it Just hi-light what you want listed and click "ordered list"

8. Decrease and Increase Indent - this is what it looks like when I hi-light all of #8 and hit Increase

9. Insert Link - when you type something and want it to be a link Like "WOW I just made a link" You hi-light what you want to be the link then click insert link and paste your URL in the box being CAREFUL NOT to have http:// show up twice at the beginning. If you hi-light the link and click undo it removes the url

10. Insert Email link - type out your name then hi-light it and click #10 then type in your email address

11. Insert image - will link an image into your post if you know the images url

12. Wrap Quote - wanna put something in your post and have it look like a quote? copy and paste it or type it out, hi-light it and click #12 and it will look like this

13. Spell Check - you will have to download it and install it but once done you can use it if you wanna.... downside it gives you options of words you meant and if you don't know what the word is for sure yer still screwed lol

14. Increase Size - Viagra for the area yer typing in. if yer typing a lot you can increase the area so you can see more of your work arrow down increases arrow up decreases

15. Switch Editor Mode - switches your editor from standard editor to WYSIWYG mode (What You See Is What You Get it lets you see what it will look like when posted)

You can choose which of the following editors you want to automatically use in your User CP > Edit Options

How about adding a XT icon and maybe just a little bigger than the X. lol

I would think it would be nice to have the persons name on the left side of there post if they want it. Or maybe we can already do that yes?

What I was thinking of is on the competitors site, where you might have two guys with the name Mike and each have there own user name. I think it says "real name" and you only use it if you want to.

OH ok if you want your real name to show up go to your user CP and put it in yer biography its weird but the biography shows up as a name on the forum

After reading this I looked at it and here is how you can add your name or whatever. Just did it myself and works great.

I see that some people can embed YouTube video in their posts. How? Does HTML need to be enabled? If so, how?
