Thumbs up Commander hill climb rollover.

Posted this up for OLDGUY. Nice video

Great little video of OLDGUY pushing four wheels up about as steep a hill as you can go and pulling the front end off the ground before rolling.

HI Guys, And Thanks Bryan !

Yes im okay Thanks , ( helment and harnesses ordered ) ha ha

Yea, the camera guys paniced , and didnt even get the good parts,

I think it was 3 rolls , but hit a tree half way down, which im sure helped slow
it some.

2 of us had been climbing the two hills beside this one ,BUT, this had never been attempted by anyone before . (And still not climbed lol )

In retrospect I shouldnt have tried it Because, i had broken a front axle earlier that day,

So, when i would accellerate hard. it would pull BAD to the left .

BUT, thought could get enough run to overcome that ( WRONG )

I would have made it BUTTT about 3/4 way up the ITC pulled my throttle back to what felt like HALF. ( I knew i was screwed then )

I have the K & T box, It has been wonderful with the QE, but i guess the extream 3 wheels spinning more than other , it STILL let ITC pull my throttle back.

Damage---- 2 A Arms junk
1 Trailing arm Tweeked
Bed Tweeked
Dented front fender. other than that it held up GOOD, drove it back to truck.
The cage did Great, but i think my Factory UTV harness bar kept it from being knocked sideways .
(seems if you just flop on side it pushs the stock cage out of square , so the big clamp on ,extra bar helps that also )

The Rackzilla is ( A-OKAY ) no damage . and it took hard enough impact to fold upper a arm down to touch lower A arm !

Video doesnt show to be as steep as really was .

Commander back together now. Going to do some front bumper and cage mods,
Then back to CLIMB the hill .

First one to climb any hill gets to name it . IM thinking - 10 BEERS - is a good name for it haha

Hopefully SANTA has a Go Pro or Drift HD camera in his bag for me,so will get better coverage NEXT time.

Hahaha...OLDGUY sent me this video about two weeks ago, and I still smile everytime I see it.

I think my buddy took Odyknuck's saying to heart "he who wears out his toys in the end wins"

By the way, hearing the wreck sounds bad, I can only imagine how it must have looked.

Man, that video gives me flashbacks from the very first time I took my Commander out. I took it to Beasley Knob here in Georgia. The trail ratings are difficult to very diffcult due to the Jeep guys creating huge ruts and ripping up the trails. Well on the back side of the mountain I am doing a hill climb and just as I got to the top it kicked to the side just like that and over and back I went. Lucky for me It only damaged half the bed and scrapped up some things but it was a bit scary and a very interesting way to break in my brand new commander I had not even made a payment on.

Anyway, glad you and the machine made it. I wish I had my wreak on video next time tell the camera man to not freak and keep filming. LOL
