commander x lift??

commander x lift??

Whats the easiest way to get 1-2 inches more ride height out of the x... Turnkey says you cant use the spacers on the fox shocks an i dont wanna spend over 500

Its not that you can not use the spacers (even if the would fit) as much you do not need them. You can achieve the same thing with the preload adjuster as that is what the spacers do, increase preload. I do not recommend you do that however it will make for a stiff ride with less control. I refer to it as the Pogo Effect!

i did my x and didnt notice much of a change at all. moved mine about an inch and it gave me about two more inches of clearance

I only tighten the front down when the plow is hanging on the front.
Otherwise it is set to ride/have fun...

What is the total ground clearence as the Commander is supposed to have 11" at the suggested preload. When I got mine I had 9 1/2" so in that case you could get a few more with out sacrificing ride.

Pogo effect ya get from whoops alot i just ride rocky mountain trails in southeast pa (treverton) i just want a little more clearance ill try tightening up the preload an give it a shot nxt weekend thanks guys i heard alot of positive an negatives on bracket lifts.. I dont wanna hafta be pulled back cuz of axle failure
