I never claimed to have common sense… I spent $130 on eBay for my lift and I agree it is way too much for what they are and Highlifter is making good profit margin on these. For sure, the design could have been easily copied, nor did I want to spend the time on recreating.
Anyway, Mark and I was going to the mountains today so I could get a feel for the changes the lift made on the ride. We had a rain delay and didn’t go so I decided to take a quick trip down to the lake and do a quick turn at a turnaround as I usually do. We slowly laid it over on its side. Maybe the spacers are a good idea (another part that could be easily made if one had the right equipment).

I hope we can all meet up some where this riding season, I do want to plan a trip up to windrock and brimstone maybe we can meet up there and y'all can show me around !!!!
Hell count me in!
I just got back from brimstone late last night. First run on my new tires, which did fit without a lift (they are 28 inch outlaw radials) but when i was flexing over the tough stuff my fronts were rubbing so looks like I have no choice but to throw a lil lift on there.

Im friends with the highlifter folks over there and seems like you guys arent running into any issues with the lift/axels so far. Looks like im gonna need to pick one up!

Well sounds great !!! We need a Commander day at Brimestone or Windrock !!!!
Muddy buddy I'm running 28'' Mudlites and I never have rubbed. But Now with the lift I don't think it would be possible to rub. !!!!

We didn't hurt anything. I seem like it took forever to finally lay it over. We had a good laugh about it after we got it back over. My son was very thankful I had the seatbelt on, otherwise he would have gotten squashed. LOL. Now it's ready to ride! But I did inspect the stock skids lol. Brimstone, Windrock, Royal Blue, Pickett are all great places to ride and count me in. Brimstone is have a White Knuckle Event Memorial weekend. Many thousands of people.

Morgan.... You did what I did... But I guess I had faster reflexes... Lol. Did it hurt or scratch the machine bad? I have wondered how the stock fender flares will take bent in half...

I got a video of me doing something stupid like that...

I agree everything for these toys are three times what they should be. But to try and make these at home could be done, but they have the spacers and plates all machined just right to fit. So yes we could fabricate them ourselves but I like knowing its all done correct. Kinda the same reason we drive through Mcdonalds !!! We could make a better burger at home, BUT.......
